Schedule, Format, Place

The course is lectured Tuesday mornings 800 - 1200 in Building 308, Auditorium 11.
The assigned time slot is divided into two parts. During each period you might have:
Lectures

Discussions where papers of significant impact on the field are presented, or exercise and exam problems are solved.

Labs, where students are supposed to work on exercises using the computer.

Seminars held by external lecturers presenting the state-of-the-art in areas relevant to the design of digital systems.
The distribution of Lectures, Discussions, Labs and Seminars in the semester, is decided on a one week notice and will be announced on DTU Learn.

Grading

The final grade is based on both a final exam and classwork.

The exam consists of a two hour written test where students answer simple questions and solve small problems.
On DTU Learn, an example of a previous exam set will be posted.
Please refer to the course description for a description of allowed aids for exam.

The classwork consists of reports of the scheduled labs that students have to produce during the semester (this list might change depending on the type of the final project):
